Dr Kelesego Mmolainyane is a Research Fellow  at the Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis since August 2017. She holds a PhD degree in Financial Economics from Flinders University (Adelaide, Australia), with special focus on financial and economic development policy modelling and analysis. Dr Mmolainyane also holds MCom Degree in Accounting & Finance from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) and a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from University of Botswana. Dr Mmolainyane was a Finance Lecturer at the University of Botswana before joining BIDPA.  She previously worked as a Principal Finance Officer in the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, seconded to various ministries (i.e. Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Lands and Housing, Administration of Justice and Ministry of Agriculture). Dr Mmolainyane’s research fields are macroeconomics, financial integration, financial access as well as financial and capital markets development policies.
