Two BIDPA employees, Dr Molefe Phirinyane and Dr Margaret Sengwaketse, attended a specialized two-week training programme on development evaluation. The course was offered by the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), 16th – 27th July 2018. The course was offered by the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank, the Centre for Evaluation (CEval), and the University of Bern, in Bern, Switzerland. IPDET was developed to fill a global need that continues today for short-term, intensive, executive-level training in development evaluation. The programme provides managers and practitioners with the generic tools required to evaluate development policies, programmes and projects at the local, national, regional and global levels.
